Victoria Enhanced Sport and Spine

Raised in Victoria, Dr. Stefanie Yao attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, Ontario. As a chiropractor Dr. Stefanie treats a variety of issues from backs and necks, to shoulders and ankles too.

Riley is a Certified Athletic Therapist CAT(C) as well as a Practicing Kinesiologist. She graduated from Camosun College's Athletic and Exercise Therapy program in 2021. Her background in participating in sports include competing at the provincial level in Swimming as well as participating in basketball, cross country and rugby.

Dr. McCowan has practiced in Victoria now for 19 years focusing on family wellness, athletics and spinal rehabilitation. Dr. McCowan uses a variety of Spinal Adjusting techniques as not all spines are created equal and treatments are customized to each unique patient.

Originally from Nanaimo, Hannah pursued her RMT dreams in Victoria and instantly connected with the city's natural beauty. She's skilled in treating a variety of conditions, from sports injuries to chronic discomfort, using techniques like Swedish massage, trigger point release, and targeted stretches.

Alex has a passion for troubleshooting and solving injuries or those nagging aches and pains. His experience ranges from treating people with everyday postural problems to athletes to those with neurological disorders like MS or Parkinson’s.

Vivien is a Certified Athletic Therapist and Registered Kinesiologist who recently graduated from Camosun College’s Athletic and Exercise Therapy program. While growing up in Tofino she developed a deep passion for the outdoors and sports at an early age.

Chantel Smith is a Certified Athletic Therapist and Registered Kinesiologist. She has recently graduated from the Bachelors of Athletic Exercise Therapy program at Camosun College. While at Camosun some of her work experiences have included high level rugby, soccer, volleyball, and with all ages of the public.

Denise is a true Victoria gal, born, raised and lived most of her life here, there is no other place she would like to be. Denise is very excited to be a part of the new team here at Victoria Enhanced Sport and Spine. She has been managing front desk of a health clinic for about 19 years now and still loves her job.
