Insurance & Billing
All extended medical plans vary based on annual amount and amount paid per treatment. We suggest you check with your insurance provider to ensure what level of coverage you have. Please note that in rare cases we cannot guarantee success of direct billing to your 3rd party insurer, as such, please be prepared to pay for your treatment which you can then submit manually for reimbursement. Every insurance plan varies by treatment coverage, doctors note requirements, and total annual coverage. Your company HR Dept should have all the answers for you. Our patient support team would be happy to help. You are entitled to accident benefits regardless of fault. Facility Details
Parking
Pay parking is available on the street or in the building parkade off Thurlow Street. Please note there is no street parking during peak traffic hours 7-9:30am and 3-6pm. There is ample street parking in the area as well as underground pay parking off Thurlow Street. Please be aware that street parking is not allowed on Thurlow and Pender Streets during rush hour Monday – Friday 7-9:30am and 3-6pm. We have four free parking stalls on level P4: 515, 516, 530, 529, P5: 588, 589 . There is also ample paid underground parking. NOTICE – Patients attending appointments after 7pm, must access the building from the back door buzzer to activate the elevators, there is a parking lot in the rear of the building. There is ample pay parking located in the underground parkade off of Pacific St or on Glen Dr or Pacific St. For those wishing free parking it is a short 1 block walk from the North end of Coquitlam Centre Mall. There is ample free street parking as well as a limited number of free visitor parking stalls for the building.

ICBC will NOT pay for any amounts above the new approved treatment limits. If longer treatments are requested the extra treatment fees will be at your expense and will NOT be reimbursed by ICBC as part of your settlement. ICBC Claims only allow for one Initial Assessment during the term of the claim. ICBC allows only one treatment claim per day per therapy type. Multiple Standard Treatments for one therapy cannot be combined on the same day to allow for longer treatments. In other words you can’t book two Standard Registered Massage Therapy treatments on the same day in order to get a 60 minute treatment. ICBC does allow one treatment per therapy type on the same day. This means patients can book separate Registered Massage Therapy, Physiotherapy, Chiropractic, Active Rehabilitation, Clinical Counselling, or Acupuncture treatments on the same day. If MVA date occurred prior to April 1 2019 the total allowable treatments under the claim will not change. ICBC does not pay for treatment No Shows or Late Cancellations. It is the patients responsibility to pay these amounts as we have reserved the treatment time specifically for you. We reserve the right to cancel all future treatments until the full amount owing is paid. It’s important to note that our ICBC direct billing service is a courtesy service and not a guarantee that all direct billings will be approved or paid by ICBC. It remains the patient’s responsibility to pay for all unpaid treatments by ICBC should direct billing problems occur. Patients will be able to collect these payments directly from their ICBC adjuster. We have also developed the Recovery Support Program for those who do not qualify under ICBC Part 7 Benefits above.
