Dr. Lee is the most comprehensive acupuncture specialist I have been to, and I have been to quite a few in the lower mainland. Most specialists do acupuncture and that is about it. He does not only provide acupuncture, but also warms the point and does pressure point massage afterwards. This is a lot to take on for the specialist at each appointment and it takes a full hour. I have had a fear of needles since I was a young girl. Dr. Lee is very attentive and caring. He will explain to you prior to proceeding what points he is doing based on his assessments from your conditions, then proceed to find the points so you know where they are. He would then use pressure points to identify the best points for the needling. Then he would let you know when he starts the needling and is constantly asking if you are doing ok or having discomfort. The needles are tiny and does not hurt at all. I think the initial light pressure when the needle going in was the thing that I had to get used to. I also found that if you just relaxed and not tense up, the whole experience is even less noticeable. Lastly, Dr. Lee is the only acupuncture specialist that fixed my headaches caused by long-term inflammation and wear of my neck, left shoulder and upper back. He knew exactly what points to do and he was able to tell that my condition existed for years. He is honest about the long-term commitment of healing and recovery, and I am so happy to say that I no longer suffer the tightness and ache on my left temple. My headaches are gone. I have gained mobility after 4 sessions of my entire left side and the tingling of my left hands and wrists are gone. If you want to explore acupuncture as an alterative method to health and wellness, I have no doubt that Dr. Lee will be the start and the end of your search. He is knowledgeable, personable and experienced. He truly cares for you. I would and have recommended him to my friends, family and colleagues.

Dr. Lee gets 5 stars for me, he is professional, takes his time to explain everything and makes sure you understand the process. Cares for his patients.I started seeing him as an alternative to drug health, to assist in migraine headaches. After going 2x week for a month then 1x week for 2 weeks I had no migraines for 2 months. The more you go or for maintenance it can keep the headaches at bay. I highly recommend him as an alternative to other Western medications that only mask symptoms.

Dr.Lee is very thoughtful, sincere and explains everything very detailed and clearly. It was my first acupuncture experience but doesn't hurt at all, comfortable and gentle. My symptom improved fast. I'm very satisfied and highly recommend him.

I have been helped by physios, chiropractors and massage therapists in the past. This was my first foray into acupuncture as I have always shied away from needles. My doctor recommended I try it for TMJ pain and headaches that I couldn’t find relief from. I had an excellent acupuncture experience with Dr.Lee. He is very kind and attentive and explains what he is doing so there are no surprises. He always asks how I’m doing and if anything hurts. I was pleasantly surprised at how little I felt the needles - not really even a poke! If you’ve ever tried IMS needling before - this is nothing like that! Your muscles are not jumping all over the place! It’s actually a relaxing experience if you can believe it! Dr.Lee is incredibly knowledgeable and unerringly found the exact points of pain and tension. My constant headaches went away and my pain was greatly reduced. I appreciated both his expertise and patient manner. I would absolutely recommend him, especially to those who are new to needling and feeling quite anxious about it.
