Drew Teskey Physiotherapist

Drew Teskey is absolutely amazing!! I am a dancer and I injured my spine pretty badly this past year. I am positive that it is because of his expertise that I healed as quickly as I did! Drew is kind and patient and was always very positive and supportive. When first injured, I was dealing with a lot of anxiety around possible severe outcomes and he was able to help ease that for me. He answered questions I had about my injury is a way I really understood. I also always looked forward to the fun conversations we would have because he has great stories!! I would highly recommend anyone to seek him out if in need of physiotherapy!! Hopefully I don't get injured again but if I do you'll know where to find me :)

Drew was recommended to me by my Doctor, after I complained of a nagging shoulder issue that was keeping me from a good night's sleep, the result of incidental contact with a larger opponent in one of our Beer League hockey games, a year earlier, once it became obvious that it would take more than time to get better; Drew diagnosed the root of the issue, meticulously moving the mending process forward with every visit; we did lots of stretching, massage therapy, IMS, and exercise, far beyond what I would usually engage in, with awesome results, and I'm feeling the best I've felt in years; he works out of the Studeo Gyms Vancouver on Hornby Street, which is a fine facility downtown, and one staffed by some great folks; however, tonight will be the true test, as the Mullets 25/26 Season kicks off; hopefully there will be no incidental contact, my newly refurbished shoulder restores my shot to its former glory, and I find the net; I'm 67, almost 68, and I've no plans for stopping anytime soon; thank you Drew, couldn't have done it without you, Dan Mullet 42

I had issues with my knee and so I was referred to Drew from my doctor's office. Drew was patient, informative and encouraging. He helped me every step of the way (literally!) by working on building up my knee strength using different exercises, each pushing me a little further but never beyond my capabilities. I deal with COPD so he worked with me to ensure I was never struggling. He's also very kind and personable which made me feel relaxed in his care. If I needed a physio again I would not hesitate to return to Drew.

I found Drew’s practice after reading many reviews following chronic pain from weight training. Within the first introductory session, he was able pinpoint my exact injury and offer concrete, attainable ways to fix it. I no longer experience any pain at all. I have seen multiple physiotherapists and athletic therapists over the last ten years, and I can honestly say Drew has been the most knowledgeable and effective. Thank you!

Drew has been a huge help with my recovery after having hip surgery over the past year and a half. He supported me in becoming active again and providing exercises that allowed me to gain strength and mobility. Drew helped give me confidence with returning to sport and I continue to have regular check ins with him to manage anything that comes up. He is flexible, listens openly and I would recommend him to anyone!
